Pacific Ridge junior Gavin Fletcher reached a major milestone, scoring his 1,000th career point and becoming the third player in school history to achieve the mark.

The milestone came during Pacific Ridge School’s game against St. Joseph Academy, when Fletcher scored his historic basket in the third quarter. He joins a celebrated group that includes Scott Nalbandian ‘15 and Brady Burman ’22 as the only players to reach 1,000 points in the boys basketball program’s history.

“This milestone reflects the countless hours Gavin has dedicated to the game,” said head coach Chris Burman. “While Gavin is an extremely talented scorer, he also stands out on and off the court for his relentless work ethic, team-first mentality, and leadership as a captain.”

Fletcher has been a key contributor on the varsity team for the Firebirds over the past three years and played a vital role in the team’s historic CIF win last season.
