With the win, we are officially back-to-back CIF Division IV Champions — a tremendous accomplishment for our program.
A Championship Run Defined by Resilience
This postseason run was a testament to our team’s grit and composure:

Quarterfinals: Up 2 at halftime, won by 20

Semifinals: Down 10 at halftime, won by 9

Finals: Down 2 at halftime, won by 14
Time and again, our players responded to adversity with focus, effort, and confidence.
The energy throughout the playoffs was unforgettable. Our home crowd at the semifinal was electric, and the championship atmosphere was just as strong. The support from our community made a real difference.

The Journey Continues
While we celebrate this CIF title, we’re not done yet. We have earned the #14 seed in the CIF State Division IV Tournament and will travel to face #3 seeded San Juan Hills High School in the first round.

Last week, the Pacific Ridge basketball community came together to support the American Cancer Society as part of the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Coaches vs. Cancer “Suits and Sneakers” Week, demonstrating that the impact of our athletics program extends well beyond the court.

Pacific Ridge Athletics has trained over 100 athletes to play sports at a collegiate level. With athletes on the East Coast playing volleyball at Yale and Harvard, to those taking the field for our hometown teams including the San Diego Wave and UCSD, PRS is proud of all their athletes. To celebrate these accomplishments, Pacific Ridge recently updated the Hall of Fame in the Athletic Center, featuring some stellar scholar athletes.

On Friday, October 4th the Firebirds will play the annual DIG PINK volleyball game to support breast cancer research and the Sideout Foundation.
