2024-2025 GOAL: $1,050,000

The Annual Fund is Pacific Ridge School's top funding priority, providing immediate, flexible resources to fund essentials not covered by tuition each academic year. The Annual Fund impacts every part of the school and campus. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PRS relies on tuition and philanthropy as its sole sources of operating revenue. Building on our founding legacy of 100% community support, we ask PRS families to be "ALL IN" and support the Annual Fund in a meaningful amount for them. Our Annual Fund kicks off on October 1 and by making your gift or pledge in the fall, you can help ensure that we meet our operating budget and fully fund all our programs and activities. A pledge is a commitment to make a gift payable any time before the end of our fiscal year on June 30.

2007 Club $2,500 - $4,999

* Donors giving $10,000 or more annually (includes Opportunity Scholarship and Endowment), with at least $2,500 going to the Annual Fund, will be recognized at the appropriate giving level in the Annual Report. Employer matched programs also count toward leadership levels. Campaign contributions are recognized separately.

Is my gift tax-deductible? Yes! Your gift to the Annual Fund is tax-deductible to the extent law allows. You will receive a letter thanking you and acknowledging your gift, which can serve as a receipt for tax purposes.
I already pay a lot for tuition. Why do I need to also give to the Annual Fund? The Annual Fund plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall educational experience at Pacific Ridge School. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PRS receives no outside funding and relies on two sources of operating income: The Annual Fund and tuition. Our support not only helps sustain the school but also fosters a thriving community where every student can excel.
Why is it important to have a high percentage of families participating in the Annual Fund? One of the first questions from potential funders outside PRS ask is the percentage of families contributing to the Annual Fund. Your Annual Fund support is a quantifiable measure of the "health" of the school, and organizations and potential donors use this measurement, among others, to decide whether Pacific Ridge School is a good investment.
How much should I give? The answer is different for each family. Consider Pacific Ridge School as it is today: the mission-driven education, the outstanding faculty and staff, the strength of our arts, athletics, and clubs, and the state-of-the-art science equipment and other facilities have been made possible by nearly decades of charitable gifts received from the current and past generosity of current and former parents, trustees, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends. So when deciding what amount is right for your family, please consider the importance you place on the tangibles listed above, the education your child receives thanks to Annual Fund support, and your family's circumstances. We ask that you consider giving generously based on all of these. Please remember that every gift makes a difference, and the only gift that is too small is no gift.
