Ways to give

Send gift amount to @SupportPRS, the official Venmo account for Pacific Ridge School. Comment your gift designation, i.e., “Annual Fund” for Annual Fund gifts. Venmo typically allows transactions of up to $2,500, but limits may be higher for verified accounts. 

Gifts of stock, bonds and mutual funds make an ideal charitable gift for both the donor and PRS, providing tax advantages that reduce capital gains and still may result in a tax deduction. The charitable deduction is based on the fair market value on the day the gift is received.

To facilitate the timely acknowledgment of your gift, please contact the Philanthropy Office at (760) 448-9834 to indicate the name and quantity of shares you will be donating as well as the fund designation.

MAKE A PLEDGE

If you are 70½ years or older, you may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to PRS without paying income tax on the transfer. This gift can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)—up to $100,000 annually—and can be easily arranged with your IRA plan administrator.
