Alumni News

Pacific Ridge School is proud to celebrate Brady Burman ’22, who has been named a finalist for the Jostens Trophy, one of the most prestigious national awards in NCAA Division III basketball. The award recognizes student-athletes who exemplify excellence on the court, in the classroom, and in their communities through outstanding achievement, leadership, and character.

A senior at Sarah Lawrence College, Brady has made a lasting impact on the Gryphons basketball program. During his collegiate career, he became Pacific Ridge School’s all-time leader in both points and rebounds, carrying forward the dedication and competitive spirit he developed as a Mustang. In his final season at Sarah Lawrence, Brady surpassed 1,000 career points, reaching an impressive milestone and solidifying his place among the program’s top athletes.

While continuing to excel in basketball, Brady has also pursued an ambitious academic path, majoring in Biochemistry and Latin American Studies. His interests reflect the same curiosity, commitment, and interdisciplinary approach that defined his time at Pacific Ridge.

During his years at PRS, Brady was not only a standout athlete but also an engaged member of the community, contributing his leadership and passion to campus life. His journey from the Mustang courts to collegiate athletics is an inspiring example of how dedication, perseverance, and a love of learning can open doors.

We are incredibly proud of Brady’s accomplishments and thrilled to see him recognized among the nation’s top Division III basketball players. We can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next!
