Alumni News

Pacific Ridge School is proud to celebrate Keara Geckeler ’15, whose dedication to healthcare and service has led her to an exciting next chapter in medicine. Keara is a 2026 MD candidate at Tufts University School of Medicine and will soon begin her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU after successfully matching into the program.

Keara’s path to medicine began at Washington University in St. Louis, where she graduated in 2019 with a degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Her studies and experiences have shaped her interest in understanding the connection between the brain, body, and overall well-being—an approach that aligns closely with the patient-centered focus of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

As she prepares to move to New York City for residency, Keara will continue developing her skills as a physician dedicated to helping patients recover, regain independence, and improve their quality of life.

From her early years at Pacific Ridge to her achievements in medical school and beyond, Keara’s journey reflects the curiosity, compassion, and commitment to service that define the PRS community. We are proud to celebrate her accomplishments and look forward to the impact she will make in the field of medicine.
