Reese Walsh ’23
Alumni News

Pacific Ridge School is proud to celebrate Reese Walsh ’23, whose passion for storytelling, the environment, and outdoor exploration continues to shape her college experience and beyond. Reese is currently interning with Open Hive in Wicklow, Ireland, a sustainable honey business dedicated to conserving the endangered native Irish honeybee.

A third-year student at Loyola Marymount University, Reese is majoring in Communications with a minor in Environmental Studies—an academic path that reflects her interest in connecting people, ideas, and the natural world. Through her internship with Open Hive, Reese is gaining hands-on experience with sustainability initiatives and conservation efforts that help protect vital ecosystems.

In addition to her studies, Reese serves as a Program Supervisor for LMU’s Outdoor and Adventure Recreation program, where she helps create opportunities for students to connect with nature, develop leadership skills, and build community through outdoor experiences.

From her time at Pacific Ridge to her work abroad, Reese continues to embody the curiosity, environmental awareness, and sense of purpose that define the PRS community. We are excited to follow her journey and the impact she continues to make.
