Our 52 Weeks of Service initiative is back for another year! Launched last year, the initiative challenges our community to complete 52 service projects by the end of 2026, creating opportunities for students, families, faculty, and staff to make a positive impact throughout the year.

As we reach the halfway point toward our goal, we’re highlighting some of the ways our community has continued to put service into action. This summer, members of our Upper School deans and leadership team came together for a hands-on service project with Foster Love, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and youth in foster care.

Working together, the group built and decorated skateboards that will be given to foster youth. Beyond providing an opportunity to learn a new skill, activities like skateboarding can offer young people a chance to have fun, express themselves, and explore their interests. We were grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Foster Love’s work and help create those experiences for youth in foster care.

Projects like this are at the heart of 52 Weeks of Service: finding meaningful ways to support others while bringing our community together. And the possibilities extend far beyond campus. Whether you volunteered with an organization, supported a community event, helped a neighbor, or participated in a service project with your family, we want to hear about it.

Have a summer service project to share? Reach out to Ms. Jackson and tell us how you served your community as we continue working toward 52 projects by the end of 2026!
