Congratulations to the Class of 2028 on their outstanding Memorial Project work! As part of this signature experience, 10th-grade students explored the question: What deserves to be remembered? Each student researched and designed a memorial honoring a person, place, or event they believe should be remembered.

Our #1 seeded Boys Varsity Basketball team captured the CIF Division IV Championship last week with a 48–34 victory over #3 seeded Morse High School.

After months of preparation, the Pacific Ridge School middle school Science Olympiad team put their scientific knowledge and engineering skills to the test earlier this month at the San Diego Regional Science Olympiad competition.

Pacific Ridge students recently hosted the 16th Annual FirebirdMUN Conference, welcoming 175 high school delegates from five local schools to campus for a full Saturday of global debate, collaboration, and diplomacy. Planned and run by students, FirebirdMUN has become a longstanding tradition in the greater San Diego region.

Last week, PRS was delighted to welcome students from Taichung Wen-Hua Senior High School in Taiwan for a memorable campus exchange. With the generous support of our Firebird host families, visiting students experienced daily life at PRS, built meaningful friendships, and created lasting memories.

Last week, the Pacific Ridge basketball community came together to support the American Cancer Society as part of the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Coaches vs. Cancer “Suits and Sneakers” Week, demonstrating that the impact of our athletics program extends well beyond the court.

The PRS Shakespeare Competition made a much-anticipated return this year, filling the stage with powerful language, bold choices, and memorable performances. Firebirds from across campus delivered polished Shakespearean monologues that demonstrated confidence, creativity, and impressive stage presence, turning the event into a true celebration of classical theater.
