Pacific Ridge School is proud to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by student-athlete Eli Terlecky '28, who recently earned a place on the Bolivia U-17 Women’s National Team and is now competing on the international stage

At the end of March, Pacific Ridge School came alive with creativity as students, families, and faculty gathered for the annual Showcase of the Arts, an inspiring celebration of artistic expression across disciplines.

Last month, Spanish teacher and (back-to-back CIF Championship winning basketball coach), Chris Burman traveled to El Salvador, where he was honored by the nation of El Salvador as a “Noble Friend of San Pedro Nonualco.”

Pacific Ridge School is excited to announce the appointment of Logan Anderson as Head Coach of the Firebirds Water Polo program, marking an exciting chapter for one of the school’s growing athletic programs. 

On a sunny afternoon at Pacific Ridge, students in Algebra/Geometry 3 and Honors Algebra/Geometry 3 were “in the field” around campus. Armed with hand-made clinometers, they put trigonometry into practice, calculating the heights of buildings, flagpoles, lightposts, and trees using the mathematical relationships they have been studying in class.

Congratulations to the Class of 2028 on their outstanding Memorial Project work! As part of this signature experience, 10th-grade students explored the question: What deserves to be remembered? Each student researched and designed a memorial honoring a person, place, or event they believe should be remembered.

Our #1 seeded Boys Varsity Basketball team captured the CIF Division IV Championship last week with a 48–34 victory over #3 seeded Morse High School.

After months of preparation, the Pacific Ridge School middle school Science Olympiad team put their scientific knowledge and engineering skills to the test earlier this month at the San Diego Regional Science Olympiad competition.
