Technique and Talent Abound at Dance Concert

On March 19th, Pacific Ridge dance students showcased their skill during an evening concert.
Despite having just three weeks of practice, 7th-grade dancers performed an impressive jazz number, and 8th-grade dance students put together a creative, musical-theatre interpretation of "Bohemian Rhapsody." Dance 1 students demonstrated their progress in technique with a contemporary routine to "Hanging On" and a crowd-pleasing take on "Smooth Criminal." Dance 2 performed a contemporary piece choreographed by sophomore Sophia Stremel in addition to a musical theatre-style performance of "Sweet Georgia Brown." Eighth graders Anna Stremel and Sophia DeLange showcased a contemporary duet and Upper School service learning group 'On Pointe' took the stage as well.
