Anatomy Students Dig Into Osteology

Make no bones about it, students in Mr. Kelso's Anatomy & Physiology class aren't afraid to get a little messy for the sake of science.
Last week, students donned aprons and gloves and got to work cutting, prodding, and examining a variety of fresh cow bone specimens. The class has been learning about the many cells and tissues that form the dynamic bone structure, and students were excited to have a hands-on opportunity to explore the diaphysis, periosteum, and other parts of the bone's anatomy.
