Spanish Class Makes Cultural Connections in Tijuana

On November 2 and 3, students in AP Spanish traveled to Tijuana to make friends and practice their language skills with high school students at Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior Universidad (CETYS). Students from both schools participated in a bioethics activity focused on ecological land development and spent time discussing their daily lives, politics and the many topics teens have in common. A number of students have formed friendships they plan to continue from both sides of the border.
