New Bus Service Provider
Pacific Ridge is delighted to announce a new partnership with Student Transportation of America (STA) as our official transportation service provider.
We are excited to work with STA—a trusted partner committed to safety, sustainability, and innovation—to provide our students with reliable and eco-friendly transportation.
Attached is the 2025-2026 Transportation Agreement for families utilizing daily bus service. This agreement will need to be filled out, signed, and emailed (in PDF format) to Jenn De la Cruz, in the Business Office. Please fill out a separate agreement for each student utilizing bus service. Once she has received your agreement(s), she will register your student(s) for bus service and bill your student's incidental invoice, according to your preferred payment plan. Once your agreement is submitted, payment made, and student ID cards have been issued, your student can visit the front office to have the bus sticker added to their ID card.
Updates and information
New Bus Tracking App - "Here Comes the Bus"
Pacific Ridge and STA are excited to offer families access to the “Here Comes the Bus” app—an intuitive, user-friendly tool that allows you to track your child’s bus in real time. You'll receive timely notifications as the bus approaches, so you know exactly when it’s arriving. As the new school year approaches, we’ll share detailed instructions on how to add and access Pacific Ridge route information through the app, to families utilizing bus service.
Bus Stickers for Students' ID cards
Students utilizing PRS bus service on a daily basis will be required to have a bus sticker on their student ID cards. This will allow our bus drivers to identify approved riders. Before boarding the bus, students will be required to have their ID cards out and ready for bus drivers to view their bus sticker. If a student does not have a bus sticker on their student ID card they will not be allowed to board the bus.
Student ID cards will be distributed in advisory two to three weeks after the start of school. Once ID cards have been issued, riders with a signed bus agreement and payment on file should visit the front desk of the middle school to have a bus sticker added to their ID card. Stickers will be available to pick up in the front office until the end of September. After September, students will not be permitted to ride the bus without the proper identification.
Single-ride Ticket Booklets Still Available
For families who may not need daily bus service, we are pleased to continue offering single-ride ticket booklets for purchase. Ticket booklets containing 10 single-ride tickets cost $150 and can be purchased at the front desk of the middle school. Cash or checks (payable to Pacific Ridge) are accepted. Students using single-ride tickets will give the bus driver one ticket for every ride utilized. If a student is riding to and from school on the same day two tickets will be required. Single-use tickets do not expire and can be used on any route – including the late bus. No agreement or sticker is needed when using single-ride tickets, but students must adhere to the bus rules set forth by STA.
