Back to School Guide

Below you can find summer reading and supply lists. For information about dress code, community norms, cell phones, please refer to the student handbook page.

Summer Reading

Please ensure that your student has checked the summer reading list, which helps identify books and assignments for any classes where you know your student is already enrolled. Student schedules will go live towards the end of July, so there may be additional materials that are needed once your student has verified that classes they requested are indeed on their schedule.

Co-Curricular Sign Up

Please make sure that students sign up for co-curriculars — service learning, clubs, and affinity and alliance groups. Having this information now is important for us to be able to determine which groups will run for the next school year. All students will continue to have an assigned Grade Level Project Time during 5th period to work on their grade level projects, grade-specific programming, or for dedicated study time.

Students can complete the survey here. There is a catalogue of offerings for service learning, clubs, and affinity and alliance groups linked in the survey. For easier reference, it is linked here as well.

College Money Method

College Guidance is offering 6 webinar sessions throughout the year with our partner, College Money Method.

The series will offer foundational learning around financial aid and guide honest conversations about cost boundaries that help your student navigate the college research process.
Each webinar includes a robust Q&A and is recorded for future reference.
